....and how do you wish to improve it?
Basicly, the guild is now off it's infant-stage and it's time to begin some proper operations. But before me and Fynik move to that, I'd like to hear people's general oppinions on The Cold(and Frozen) Embrace, and what you think is wrong(and dont be scared to say what's good with it either!) about the embrace.
We aim to make it as nice as possible of course, and hearing people's general oppinions and suggestions never hurt.
So, im all ears. Please do speak up!

First of all, the forum. Yes, we got one but it still hasn't the full functionality as it should have, nor enough members being arsed to register into it. What we lack is a proper organisation of sections. For instance, there should be a certain section for information gathering. You know, a vault of knowledge where the members can stack up a library of information of reports, rumors, guilds, peopls, profiles ect. Secondly, organisation in general. We have the sheep herder (Cea and Fynic) their sheepdogs (the officers), yet not the proper tools and fences. I bet half the memberbase has no idea what their actual role is, despite that there are officers being in charge of different areas of the guild. We need to be alot mor informative about that, and being more strict how to assign those people. One suggestion - if not implemented already - is to divide the death knights into classes. Of course I don't mean we should go military, but even cults adapt from their organisations. Classes could be for example guardians, spies, hitmen, bodyguard, saboteurs, you name it. Currently we got two sections, those who safeguard the security of the embrace, making sure out existance gets not compromised, and those who deal with infiltration, information-gathering and whatnot. And honestly, I feel it's still not being clear of who are in charge of that or who he/she is under command for. This could be arranged by listing that up in the forum, which is after all meant to be the source of knowledge within the guild, both ICly and OOCly. Not registering in the forum when it's already told ICly they should in order to be informed could, honestly, be considered being ignorant. Alot more people need to get their lazy arses to register here and contribute, or the communication will be flawed. Third, Recruitment. While the current method, find death knights without guildtags and try to convince them to join us by going through a trial is a interesting and immersive method, it's still in a crude shape, not sharpened enough to perfection. And not nitpick, but for god's sake, even the prayer from The 13th Warrior is more flawless than the current blood oath. It needs to be shortened, more dramatic, not like reading loud from the cursive A4 text in a celebrity contract. But back on track, we need to somehow figure out how to smoothly find more people and to bring them into the guild without making the procedure too drawn-out. There are tons of death knights out there, and they slowly get flinged around into meh-guilds, and we lose potentional of that. Maybe we should assign members to become the certain "recruiters", who knows. So, in short: - Refine the forum with proper sections.
- Polish the organisation and make the members more aware what each person is suppose to do.
- Oil the recruitment to avoid mistrips.
In crude but extra shortened: Fix the organisation

The forum is key to a guild like this as communication is very important, all the members need to know what role they play in the guild and what they are aiming to do.
as i`m only playing Kyasha as an RP character and don`t log on to level her or do anything other than RP with her , my only way of knowing whats going on is via the forums, from what I see so far less than half the guild members are registered so far, i`ve not actually done much on Kyasha to date and not logged in with her much since she joined as i`m still unsure what her role is and until I know that i`ve got nothing really to work with from an RP perspective.
Also i`m not sure the way the channels have been done is ideal, it would be better to have guild chat IC and have the custom IC channel as OOC that way people like me who spend lots of time in game levelling on my other characters could be joining the OOC custom channel and at least be aware if anything was happening.

I would advise not having any IC channel and having guild chat OOC, but also conducting regular meetings; that way you don't have to use any irritating telepathic nonsense but you still maintain regular contact.
With regards to organisation and roles, I think two or three groups are enough so long as they know what they're there for; I suggest having one group devoted to armed force and one to espionage as you already have (but make sure each one feels like a separate group with clear goals), and perhaps also a group devoted to training and discipline.

Im going to make a password protected section for Embrace. Where our intel and private plans can be published. I will communicate with the guild about the password.
