Name: Staff of the coldbringer
Description: A long black staff with a white jewel at one end, held in claw-like wood.
Abilities: The staff of the coldbringer contains two special abilities, easily triggered by channeling the appropriate element into the crystal while holding the staff.
The first ability is frost in nature. If frost magic is channeled into the crystal, a destructive blizzard of large ice cones and vast iceballs will rain down on the target area which is usually where the staff points at. Although ineffective against armor, the blizzard can cause severe damage to buildings and unarmored opponents.
The other spell is a "death bolt", another offensive ability which requires the necromantic element to be channeled into the crystal. The deathbolt does "withering" damage upon impact, which means that the flesh and skin of the target withers. A headshot of this will not be pleasant. And this also ignores armor, completly, making it more suitable to heavily armored opponents.
History: All that is known about this powerful staff is that it's the creation of Amnennar the Coldbringer, a lich in charge of the scourge in Razorfen Downs in southern barrens. Why he does not use the powerful staff himself is a mystery, but a theory is that the staff was robbed from him by a pillaging band of adventurers.
((OOC: The two elements of the staff is frost and necromancy. Channeling some different element into the staff will have no effect what so ever.))
