Name: Orbs of Rhod'an
Description: A collection of small orbs in different colour, variating from white, purple, red and green. There's twelve of them in total.
Abilities: The twelve orbs have slightly different abilities, but they have one thing in common: They are immensily packed with vast vast amounts of magic energy. The purple and green ones store mostly necromantic energies, the white ones holy energy and the red ones fel energy.
One can use the orbs in almost countless ways. The most common and easy way to use them would be to "amplify" the strenght of a summon or spell by holding the orb in one hand. The orbs energies will flow through the body of the caster and add it's own strenght to the spell.
Some of the orbs can also be used as huge bombs, as was demonstrated in a recent incident in Theramore, where a fel orb was used to demolate much of the southern wall. Adding a spell with a "timer"(dots, in short), means that it will take a while before the orb releases its full energy, giving the caster time to get away. Using the orb this way may result in the destruction of the device, however.
The orbs can also be linked together and the various energies "join up" with each other, but the result of this is likely to be extremly destructive to the caster and the area around him/her.
Fact remains, alot of the potential of the orbs remain unknown, as they have not been subject to thorough recorded experiments.
History: Precious little is known about the orbs of Rhod'an. Rhod'an was a powerful necromancer of the cult of the d**ned, but he was felled by Loarderian soldiers. Before he died, he created these orbs, which were scattered over the world when the soldiers looted his possessions. Why he would create the white orbs with holy energy is unknown.
Other notes: The orbs are of the following kind: 2 white orbs(holy), 3 green orbs(necromancy), 4 purple orbs(necromancy and shadow) and 2 red orbs(fel magic). Only 11 orbs remain, as one of the fel orbs were recently destroyed in Theramore.
